Juhani, imagine the HUGE number and range of lenses that could've been used with it, if it could take M42 lenses.

Unhappily the Kiev Automats can't receive M42 lenses due its small bayonet diameter.

wow, what a beautiful set. Years ago I got a set with Helios 81, Jupiter 9, Jupiter 11 and M39 adapter.
