Estafeta

5 posts in this thread
Hi
Can someone tell me which part(s) is/are missing in the aperture lever of my Estafeta. Photos here
http://public.fotki.com/BlueWind/estafeta/
A detailed picture of that part (complete)would be very much apreciated.
Any aditional information about its Triplet lens? Is it a copy of some more known model??
Thanks in advance
Joao

trata-se de uma Flexaret IVb a peca que trava sobre o anel de velocidades e identica.
That is a FlexaretIVb and the locking element over the shutter speed ring is identical.

Obrigado Luís
The camera is completely functional, the little missing part is not crucial. Thank you for the photo - as all the photos of this camera show it seen from above, I could not figure precisely what was missing under the lens. And thank you also for the link.

Hope that helps.

Vlad.
Hello Joao and Vlad
Is is relatively common this linkage become a missing part of the camera . Several cameras in the end of the 1950 years used to built similar locks. I believe the Konica III second series was one of the firsts, but I remember that concomitantly the Estafeta and the Vympel and also the Yunost were also shown at Brussels fair in 1958 with the same feature. All used the same shutter. When those cameras come to repair I use parts from certain type of cheap school compasses that has the screw and nut needed to replace the orignal. whith a certain skill one can also obtain the needed lock for a complete and perfect service.

LP
