FYI. Today (May 15th 2012) on yahoo's front page two Russian cameras was presented with title of the most expensive camera




The article under the picture is about Leica what was sold for $2.8 Mil (2.16 Mil euros)
In any case camera prices on the raze! Or so we was told

Yes, it's for the ur-Leica # 116, at the Westlicht Auction (Vienna).
I don't care: I collect Leicas only from 1928!

Being from Vienna I can tell you the auction was all over the news here.

The Yahoo page is hilarious, at least they didn't use a picture of a digital camera.
