Horizon S3 Pro (Horizon 203)

2003

The Horizon S3 Pro (Initially designated Horizon 203) is the first of a series of S3 panoramic cameras. The S3 Pro camera follows on from the Horizon 202 and has a more rounded body design and a quieter, smoother lens-swing. The S3 Pro has a dual-speed lens swing which is switched by the lever below the film-rewind crank. On the slow swing, shutter speeds are 1/8 to 1 second, and on the fast swing, 1/30 to 1/250 second. Two concentric disks, one below the other, under the viewfinder, set the aperture and shutter speed respectively. The lens is the MC 2.8.28 MG. There is a spirit level on the top of the camera that can be seen in the lower part of the viewfinder when composing the picture. The complete kit consists of the camera, a nylon case, a hand grip and three filters.
