"Arterii Kamaza" Kiev 4

2005

An unusual and unique Kiev 4 that has no covering and has had the body painted with a Russian Modernist - Constructivist scene by an unknown Ukrainian artist. The camera dates from 1973 but the artwork was done in 2005 or 2006.

The title is "Arterii Kamaza" which is referring to the 'artery pipes' (probably for manufacturing or industrial trailings) from the large Kamaz automotive and metallurgy factory in Naberzhniye Chelny, in Tatarstan, between the Kama and Volga Rivers.

'KAMAZ' is the Kama Avtomobilniy Zavod. The last photo shows the factory and you can see the same 'artery' pipes on the left side of the image.
