KGB 21mm Film Splitter

This device was used by KGB agents and others who used the F-21 surveillance cameras. Its purpose is to take standard 35mm film and reduce it to 21mm film that can be loaded into the special cassettes that fit the F-21 cameras. It was also, like the F-21, made by KMZ in the "special workshop".

It is easy to use in the dark because it has a crank with handle, a gear mecahnically attached to the handle (you can see it on the side) that stops the splitting process after a certain length, and a chopper at the end to cut the film cleanly.

As you can see from the photos, this splitter works very well...and has a beautiful construction, with many screws!
