FED 6X Film Loupe

1938

The FED 6X negative or film viewer was made circa 1938 as part of the widening of accessories available for the FED. Made of metal and quite heavy for its size, it has a polished chrome eye-piece with glass lens that has the engraved "FED" logo and "6X". It has a black-painted textured body, and a matte chrome, slide-through film or negative holder.
The original box, pictured has a canvas-textured surface with impressed "FED" on the front, and old penciled writing in Cyrillic script "lupa FED". A rare FED accessory.
