The construction of this camera later becase the basis of modern SLR technology - the mirror would raise up at the time of shutter activation, creating an access to a photographic plate. The shutter speed was regulated by special device. Camera was made for 9x12 and 13x18 cm plates. The magazine was made for 12 plates for one of these sizes.
