WWII cameras for Russian correspondents

3 posts in this thread
Interesting from what google translate tells me.
Surely, cameras were rather rare on the Soviet side compared to what the Germans had. It's amazing how many german soldiers were able to take private pictures.

I have inherited a FED1'c' from my grandfather that - as he claimed - belonged to a soviet political commissar in WWII. That's how I got here in the first place - looking for more information on these cameras and their use in the war.

Christian
The Germany that went to war was not poor. It was the long war that ruined it. And especially when war was long in USSR.

Best regards,
Juhani
