Zenit VE (Zenit BE)

1972-1977

The Zenit VE, which is based on the Zenit V (B) camera body, but has a special viewing screen with a clear circular centre field. This is thought to be for use with endoscopes and microscopes. It has a standard fabric, focal plane shutter with speeds from 1/30 to 1/500 second plus B. It has a 42 mm screw lens mount, a self-timer and is synchronised for flash.
