Kazan FS-2 300mm 1:4.5

This objective has been developed in 1945 by the State Optical Institute (ГОИ) in Leningrad for the Photosniper FS-2 based on camera FED. This manufacture had no further development. When SLR cameras were in high demand in the 50’s years, there was a need for aditional objectives for them. Most of old objectives, were altered for use on SLR. This shown objective was made by the Kazan Optiko-Mechanical Factory in 1959. The objective has a M39x1 mount and a register of 45.2 mm for the Zenit cameras of the era. This lens belongs to a pilot production, for future serial production. Unusual and extremely rare objective.
